I would be willing to guess that many of you have never heard the word SVELTE before. Or, at the very least, are not sure how to pronounce it. As a child, I used to think it was pronounced SVET like SET. Alas, I was wrong and to put it to bed once and for all, it is actually pronounced like FELT.
